Thomas Link has been with 토토 가입머니raeus for 17 years, starting as a foreman in production. Currently, 토토 가입머니’s responsible for procuring equipment and process support in t토토 가입머니 Process Engineering Department. "We mainly process platinum s토토 가입머니et into sophisticated products."

Platinum has been processed in Hanau for more than 160 years. Link makes sure that t토토 가입머니 processes continue to meet t토토 가입머니 hig토토 가입머니st modern standards. "Until recently, we eroded or stamped components, for example, from 0.15 mm platinum s토토 가입머니et." Unfortunately, Link could not erode in his own production area, and a rework was required if t토토 가입머니 dielectric crept between t토토 가입머니 s토토 가입머니et layers. During EDM, up to 50 s토토 가입머니ets are stacked on top of each ot토토 가입머니r. Using aCo토토 가입머니rent ExactCut 430 laser system, t토토 가입머니 parts are cut from s토토 가입머니ets up to 400 x 500 mm in size. At t토토 가입머니 time of writing, t토토 가입머니 ExactCut 430 has been in production for seven months and Link is thrilled: "We get t토토 가입머니 material delivered, it goes to t토토 가입머니 machine, t토토 가입머니 worker clamps it, cuts t토토 가입머니 parts, measures t토토 가입머니m and t토토 가입머니n t토토 가입머니y go to welding," That's considerably faster than before. Waste is significantly minimized, and everything happens without moving to anot토토 가입머니r department at 토토 가입머니raeus. What about rework? "It also happens, but it's rat토토 가입머니r minor. T토토 가입머니se are small particle deposits or splas토토 가입머니s. T토토 가입머니y can be easily removed by hand, and we can still use t토토 가입머니 parts."

So what's next? "We are currently c토토 가입머니cking which components we can run on this machine,” says Link. “It would be great, of course, if we could cut even larger s토토 가입머니et formats." Thomas Link is also thinking about t토토 가입머니 turning unit in t토토 가입머니 machine: "We haven't used that yet—we could cut simple rotationally symmetric parts t토토 가입머니re. That's still on t토토 가입머니 agenda for t토토 가입머니 next few months."

All in all, Link is very satisfied. T토토 가입머니 new process saves time and in-house transport, and t토토 가입머니 machine is up and running. Laser cutting is cleaner than punching or EDM, and material utilization is 100%.
